2 worrisome bugs in Krita

Ya speak of Chalk does very little, in fact it is one of the finalist applications to Open Source Awards 2011 (finalist in the category of Best Multimedia Software).

Well, Chalk uses OpenGTL which is highly beneficial when used in filters and other aspects, without falling into very technical details, Chalk using this technology works much faster, lighter, it is better 🙂

Well, it happens that reading the official blog of the main developer, I find that there are two bugs that concern you:

Apparently, the problem is in the driver for these Ati, and explaining this in an even simpler way ... Krita works quite badly, it is even highly unstable if the computer graphics processing to this hardware.

The developer encourages users to help him, specifically to give him bug reports, information, everything they can give him for him to debug his best and try to solve this problem.

But this does not end there, the problem is not as simple as it seems. Chalk uses LLVM, and in reality this is the cause of the evils, so this translates into; all the applications they use LLVM They will suffer from this disease too, at least until a solution is found.

In short, whoever has this problem please send you an email to the developer.

regards

Is this project young? Is that in a time Gimp and its floating windows are loaded

Gimp is not charged by God. Also, shortly the windows will no longer be floating by default.

Hahahaha But what did Krita do to you? hahaha Have you tampered with the 20Gb photos of girls in bikini that you had? Hahaha na, it's fuck hahaha

Cheap copy of your comment haha

I have not tried Krita but the Gimp windows are quite loading, thank goodness it will be solved

I haven't tried Krita in a while, I don't remember which version it was but I haven't given it another chance in a while.
When I tried it, it didn't taste very good, maybe it was predisposed ... maybe not, when I make my "pacman -Syu" I'll add a "pacman -S koffice-krita" 😉

        More or less 😉
Gimp has managed to be a fairly serious project, recognized by all, a flagship when talking about image processing in GNU / Linux, Krita has a LOT of way to go, also ... she has had some other legal inconvenience, for example ... she has had to change name more than once 0_oU

Hello good, I just wanted you to clear me a doubt because I already downloaded krita and the coloring options caught my attention and that but I have a terrible problem and it is that I cannot work with very high resolutions because it gives problems, let's say letter size for example, yes I do it like this and I put a Gaussian blur for example it starts to get stuck and take a long time like rendering but I say it takes a millennium more or less just in an action so simple that photoshop does quickly with something of this size, my graphics card is Envy GTX960MSI and I think that I should not have this kind of problem I would like you to clear this question, thank you very much
