Sabayon Linux is a distro based on Gentoo, but designed so that its use and installation is much easier, so it is not necessary to compile everything as Gentoo.
Very few days ago they were released 3 new ISOs of this distro, they are ISOs as they mention "Experimental", the ISOs are these:
- LXDE. An ISO with LXDE, which ensures it works on low-performance or low-resource computers.
- E17. Like the previous one it is for computers with little hardware, it comes with illumination 17 (in addition, light applications such as Ristretto, Midori, Xnoise, etc.).
- Awesome. Sabayon presents this new option, which brings the window manager Awesome.
The following changes can be found in these ISOs:
- Most updated software / packages (updated until November 8, 2011)
- Including the Linux kernel v3.1.0
- Even lighter, GCC is now provided by the package sys-devel / gcc, packaged separately.
- Ext4 default, and support for BRTF encrypted.
- Installation in less than 5 minutes.
You can find these CDs in the downloads section on its official site.

It looks an interesting distribution, do you know if it has enough documentation and forums in Spanish?
The installation is similar to Ubuntu, much faster and in theory the installation of programs is easy.
Buff, sabayon, it's been how long I haven't heard from it and I only installed it once, almost 4 years ago, looking for an alternative to ubuntu ... But it seemed too slow to me.
PS: Thanks for the script Gaara 🙂
A pleasure friend, welcome to our modest site 😀
Let's see if I visit the site a few times, if I like it I will add it to favorites 🙂

Sounds good to me 😀
If you like what we publish, that's enough, it is just what we want ... that our articles are new, interesting 🙂

It is a very complete distribution and very easy to use, it hurts that much of the documentation is in English.
