Recent releases of GNU/Linux Distros

Today, and for this beginning of the month, there are 2 quite striking and interesting launches, which correspond to:

Dr.Parted 24.07: This new stable release is based on the Debian testing repository as of July 1, 2024, and includes the Linux kernel 6.8.12-1 and some new packages such as firmware-atheros, btrfs-progs and efibootmgr. This release features the Openbox window manager and a suite of applications including GParted, PCManFM, and Netsurf.
