The new Beta version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 was released recently and with it new improvements are being managed and especially new features and tools that are planned for the stable version.

About Red Hat Enterprise Linux
For those readers who are not familiar with Red Hat Enterprise Linux as well known by its acronym RHEL I can tell you that this is a commercial distribution of GNU / Linux developed by Red Hat.
It is the commercial version based on Fedora which in turn is based on the previous Red Hat Linux, similarly to how Novell SUSE Enterprise (SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop and SLE Server) is with respect to OpenSUSE or Mandriva Corporate with respect to Mandriva Linux One.
While new versions of Fedora come out every 6 months or so, RHEL ones usually come out every 18 to 24 months.

- Lastly, the Berkeley Extended Packet Filter (EBPF) integration provides a more secure and efficient mechanism for monitoring activity in the kernel and helps enable other network monitoring and performance monitoring tools in the future.
