Today I am here to show you my latest application, HelpLinux! As you may have deduced, it is a program that provides useful information to the novice user.
Currently only for Debian and derivatives (.deb format) and uses libraries of Prawns 3. I have prepared an auto-installer in case you are too lazy to type commands.
With this project I intend to create something that unites the community of DesdeLinux. You can send all the suggestions and opinions to me at rogergm70 at gmail dot com.
Download
Well I leave you the installer and some screenshots. You can download the installer from Paste de Desdelinux:
Give it execute permissions and run it. Remember to run with root permissions.
Interesting this application. It can be expanded a lot and made into a great learning tool. 😉
I find it interesting, especially for computers with slow connections or directly without connection. But wouldn't it be useful to do it online in wiki format (or another format)? Maybe it already exists (like arch, very complete).
In any case it looks very elegant!
I see too much work behind the application. Are you doing it alone? it must be exhausting collecting so much info.
Two friends help me but I usually develop it myself.
When I install it in linux Mint it gives me an error in the gambas3 dependencies.
Actually I would like to have a help like this, if you can help me I will thank you.
Thank you very much.
note: The mail only receives national
It seems that the Gambas 16 packet is not found in the Linux Mint 3 repositories
It gave me an error installing it on Linux Mint with the dependencies.
This help would be very useful to me since I am taking my first steps.
Thank you.
Note: The mail is national.
Try with this: http://paste.desdelinux.net/?dl=4927
By the way better send them to me rgras@megasystems.esy.es
Mmmm, the truth would be better an application with QWebView and that the content you want to show is formatted in html, so it would be much easier to add information to the application just to view the app offline, it seems to me that all those widgets do not see anything « Professionals". But good in a matter of taste the colors.
regards
Good contribution!
In other words: man main for dummies.
After all, any help will do. I will install it as long as my old PC fails to go on sale (since I will allocate it for my
oldmother).Very good and interesting idea. Yesterday I installed Kubuntu on my Netbook, I fell in love with KDE and looking for information about this environment I found this website two hours ago and I can't stop reading posts. Incredible what they did!!! I am already a fan of «DesdeLinux»….uu
