AmayaOS, is a 100% free operating system UNIX-like (Not GNULinux), multitasking and multiuser, written in C and C ++. It has educational purposes and is designed to make obsolete machines useful, since so only need an x86 processor (real computer or 32-bit virtual machine) and 13 MB of ram memory to run fast.
Currently AmayaOS has multi-language support (Spanish and English), a small desktop environment or TUI, some basic applications such as various text editors, a spreadsheet, some games and basic Unix-like system commands like ls, pwd, grep, find, cp, mkdir, etc.
