Android Market dies, Google Play Store is born

Android Market had an incredible acceptance, in fact in October last year surpassed iOS in number of downloads. And this news will undoubtedly make it grow even more 😀

Happens that Android Market disappears, now it will be called Google Play Store.

What advantages does this bring us?

  • First of all, we have available everything that existed in Android Market now in Google Play Store, so we will not lose anything.
  • In the future, everything will be more intuitive, the way in which the content is interacted with will be simplified.
  • All content that was scattered across various services (Google Music etc.) in a single, integrated service.

In addition, developers who were limited by those 50MB maximum per App, now instead of having 50MB will have a maximum of 4GB 🙂

Website: http://play.google.com

In short ... now users of Android they will have more order haha, less complications 😀

Greetings and congratulations !!

I shit on the milk and on Google !!! And what you say in your article does not remind you of anything ?????? I don't know, but it sounds to me like a certain store / software called iTunes, where all the products offered by another certain company called Apple are coincidentally unified. And then the "fandroids" get upset when Android / Google is accused of blatantly copying Apple

I do not see anything wrong with the appstore or the itunestore, in fact it makes life easier and helps to find high quality programs at low cost.

And what does that have to do? Since its inception Android has copied a bit from iOS, and today iOS is also copied from Android. This is a "you copy me, I copy you", and it is inevitable (well, there are patents, but I think we have seen where they lead, not Apple? ¬¬). Now, the idea is the same, but Google Play will not look exactly the same as iTunes, so in a certain way we will have some identity. Or not?

Note: I am an Android user, for the record.

The iTunes issue didn't even cross my mind. What I thought is that they changed the name to erase the San Benito that the Android Market is full of Malware. 😛
