AppImagePool: A simple and efficient client for AppImageHub
Here at DesdeLinux, for a long time we have been dealing with different posts about AppImage, about the fabulous and practical application and game packaging system for linux. However, today we will talk about what is and how to install AppImagePool, which is a simple and efficient client for AppImageHub, that is, the well-known official online store of this packaging technology. which includes a good number of standalone applications that can simply be downloaded and run on any Linux OS. How is it installed and used?
For its installation, in our current operating system (Respin MilagrOS 3.1, based on MX-21/Debian-11) we have chosen the installation via Flatpak, for which I only executed the following command order to have said application installed, as seen in the following 2 images:
flatpak install flathub io.github.prateekmedia.appimagepool
Then, it can be easily executed via Application Menu or Application Launcher to verify that it allows us to quickly manage any app/game from the AppImageHub store without major problems. As can be seen in the following images:
