Version has been released 0.90.3 de DockBarX, an application that became popular as an Applet for the dashboard Gnome 2 since it allowed us to have an independent dock or the list of windows only with icons.
This new version includes interesting improvements especially when it is used only as a Dock, since now it supports Applets, the menu Menu, clock, app indicator, volume control and other new features. In addition, the new default theme is correctly seen in both the vertical and horizontal position and the preferences have undergone slight changes and improvements.
To install it on Ubuntu the following steps are executed on the console:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dockbar-main/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install dockbarx
If you are using MATE, then you run:
sudo apt-get install dockbarx-mate killall mate-panel
I have not tried it on Debian, but soon I do and tell them. We can also download tar.gz from Launchpad
