Available to download Firefox 13

As usual, even without the official announcement, we can already download from the Mozilla FTP the next stable version of Firefox, which in addition to the improvements and bug fixes, adds two new features.

Faster access to the most used options

We had already talked about this novelty previously in FromLinux, and although some users found it unnecessary, I find it quite useful. It is simply a quick access to some of the options most used by the user, such as the Downloads, Plugins and other functions, as can be seen in the following image

Fast Dial or Speed Dial

Another novelty of Firefox 13 is something we are tired of seeing in other browsers like Opera, Midori o Chromium and it's about Speed Dial o Fast dial, whatever you want to call it. To be honest, it had taken a long time to include this functionality natively.

As is known, in this version the protocol SPDY should be available by default to speed up the loading of web pages, plus now tabs load On Demand, that is, if we had several tabs open, these will not load until we click on them. We will see the rest of the new features with the official launch 
