Let's try 🙂
Without a doubt my favorite email client, too bad the function to hide the menu bar does not come by default in the Linux version, but good for that there are add-ons
I used it a little less a year ago, the only thing I did not like was that when I opened an email, it always showed it as unread, and if I deleted any email, it remained, it was not deleted, so I had to enter the gmail and hotmail account to do everything, I did not see if in the end it had to go directly to the account.
regards
Well, you had it wrongly configured.
If you had it configured as Imap, it does not touch the messages of the account, unless you indicate in the configuration that when deleting X file, it is also deleted on the server. If you had it as Pop, it will download all the messages to your hard drive, being able to configure whether you want a copy to remain on the server, or to leave nothing and transfer everything to the disk. Imap is better if you are traveling or accessing the mail from anywhere. Pop is better if you always consult from your home.
Interesting, the truth is that I do not remember that detail, which is most likely that I had it in Imap without configuring the deletion on the server.
I will see it soon.
