Available for download Firefox 16: Focused on developers

You are already in the Mozilla FTP as usual the final version of Firefox 16 available for download, even though the official announcement has not been made on the official site.

Although this version includes many performance improvements, it is more focused on developers, since it implements a new toolbar that works based on commands, which allow quick access to various options.

A basic and simple example is the command screenshot, which allows us to capture the image of the site where we are. As we type, we are shown the possible command options and tips on how to use them. Example:

As news, Firefox 16 incorporates preliminary default support for VoiceOver on Mac OS X, a new language has been added called acholi, a garbage collector for javascript, which will improve the performance of the browser.

For the rest, new CSS3 animations, transitions, transformations and gradients are now available that do not require prefix, the option to view recent files in the Scratchpad ("Eraser") among other features.
