Ubuntu 11.10 available

Many were waiting for it and the new version of the most popular and controversial distribution of GNU / Linux: Ubuntu Oneric Ocelot.

We already talked about the news, but I'll get into the subject more thoroughly when I download the .iso and give it a try. What if I was quite perplexed was the new Ubuntu Tour, simply great 😀

I can say the same. What a great idea about the Tour, so you don't have to try Ubuntu 😛

I already have it installed, take a look at the Software Center, it's great! Unity 2D is very similar to the 3D version. When I go to install Envy's proprietary Driver I get many options so I haven't installed it yet.

The tour is really impressive! I have tried the Google search engine and I am amazed that it will search faster than the normal way!

    Congratulations Ubuntu on your day….

The job they did was really great. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ubuntu running in the cloud very soon.

Well, I include myself among those who will try it in a few days or weeks. Let's see how it goes!

By the way, as I read in http://www.pillateunlinux.com/ubunticias/ Dell will re-market some computers with Ubuntu pre-installed, after it had stopped doing so for a while; hence the promotional image of Oneric appears on a laptop of that brand.

    Greetings.

This is great news. I remember reading something about it, but it seems to me that it was the desktops, not the laptops. By the way, it will be a big step forward if Dell re-promotes the use of Ubuntu.

I think so and I hope it is well received by consumers and, in the future, other producers will bet on a Linux distro as an alternative.

    Greetings.
