What is it?
Campus Party is the most important Internet event in the world in the areas of Innovation, Creativity, Science and Digital Leisure.
This event was born in 1997 for Internet lovers and has grown to become an essential event to understand the new information technologies. Workshops, conferences and competitions make Campus Party an event of proven formative consistency.
What Saint Wikipedia tells us:
«It is a LAN Party, created in Spain in 1997, which brings together computer enthusiasts from around the world. It is held annually in different Spanish locations such as Malaga, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca, but as of 2008 it began an international expansion with events in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and El Salvador.«
Development
Paco Ragageles He is the founder of Campus Party, an event that was created in 1997 as a meeting of young technology fans. He was born in Barcelona in 1967. The first years of his career he dedicated to music and worked as a DJ, later he coordinated a group of radio stations in Spain.
After two editions of Campus Party in Spain, Paco Ragageles dedicated himself to expanding the so-called LAN party, and to this day it has been held in Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Brazil, the United States, Germany and Mexico.
It has become the largest technology event in Spain and Latin America.
Location
This year it's my turn to organize the event at my rancho (Zapopan) and it will be held at Expo Guadalajara.
Movistar Campus Party celebrates its fifth anniversary with a new headquarters, Zapopan, considered one of the technological nerve centers of the country. This year our Campus will be the largest in the world since we will gather from June 25 to 29 at Expo Guadalajara 10.500 campuseros from all the states of the country. Developers, entrepreneurs, passionate about social networks, designers or gamers will come together to enjoy more than 600 hours of content distributed between conferences, workshops and activities.
Support for entrepreneurs will be one of the central axes of the # cpmx5 edition and, both those who have a startup and those who have an idea, will be able to develop their projects through the business marathons and Startup Camp.

All the ideas that are selected will win 2 tickets and double camping to join the marathons. 5 finalists per category will be selected to present their project to investors. Additionally there will be a main prize per category that consists of a trip to the next Campus Party Europe to present your project.
