Canonical needs your help to improve Ubuntu

Canonical, the company behind the popular Ubuntu distribution, has published a poll to encourage the community to contribute suggestions and ideas so your future releases are better than your current ones.

With the nickname Focal Fossa, Ubuntu 20.04 will be the next LTS version (with long-term support) of the Ubuntu distribution, with a release date for April 2020.

Ubuntu 20.04 development started last October and daily builds are available for public testing, but now Canonical wants the entire community to get involved by making Ubuntu 20.04 LTS the version of their dreams, as well as making way for better versions for the future.

Take the official Ubuntu 20.04 LTS survey right now

All Ubuntu long-term support releases are a major goal for Canonical because they are supported for 10 years, so developers want to be sure Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is perfect.

For that, they have asked the Ubuntu community, as well as any other user who uses a Linux distribution, to answer a survey of between five and ten minutes.

Canonical mentions that with this survey they want to hear your story with Ubuntu, whether it's positive feedback or frustrations with past experiences.

If you are an existing user, they want to know why and how you use Ubuntu, what you don't like about the current versions, and what the system is missing. You have until January 20, 2020 to help Canonical make Ubuntu the best Linux distro.
