Change icon to file type in KDE

I use the icon theme Faenza, but the icon shown for files MHT it's really ugly. So, as I wanted to change the icon that appears in these files, I had to modify the Faenza pack, something that I found a bit tedious yesterday (yes, I was lazy ...)

Fortunately, KDE it allows me to make this kind of changes in a super simple way 🙂

Here are the steps to change the icon of any type of file:

1. Open the System preferences and double click on the option «File Associations«:

2. Now in the filter bar we write the type of file to which we want to change the icon (in my case they are the .mht, that's why I write mht)

3. Selecting in the results area that does not appear a few centimeters below the option that most closely resembles our need (generally we will only see one option hehe, they do not get involved with this much), we can change the icon. See the following image for better understanding:

Done.

    If simple enough, I used to modify the mimetypes in the icon theme.
