Change skins on Steam

One of the options that Steam has is to be able to change the interface design through skins.
The first thing is to find one that we like (below I will put some pages where you can search) and download the compressed file.
Once downloaded we open it and unzip the folder in the skins folder (in my case in ~ / Steam / skins) and in the Steam client we are going to View -> Parameters (or we click with the right mouse button on the icon in the tray system and select the same option) and in the Interface tab we open the drop-down where it says Select the appearance of Steam and select the skin.

Once selected, click on OK and it will tell us that we have to restart the client. We click on Restart and we only need to restart to see how it looks now.

I hope you liked this mini tutorial ^^

If you know any interesting skin or a page where you can download more you can post it in the comments

To me, this skins thing seems like something from the end of the last century. What I'm looking for is integration with the rest of the applications, that if I use kde the appearance is a qt application and if I am in a gtk environment, then the same ...

Who likes this about skins, that's great ...

I don't think you can expect that from a platform like Steam .. it has a unique interface for both mac, windows and gnu

For me it's fine, I don't even change the skin because I don't play with that skin, what interests me is that the games run well on my pc, period.

An option would be missing to make it look like a native application, but that not even in Windows does it ...
It would be nice if you have included in the post an image of how your Steam was in the end.
    Thanks for the post. Cheers
