Change the appearance of the Grub with Oxygen Grub2 Theme

Although personally I almost never change anything in the Grub, I liked this topic a lot, and if you are a user of KDEWell, you will like it much more than I do.

Unfortunately I couldn't get a Screenshot So you can see how it turned out, but I leave you the image that the author gives us. It was the same, but it has the logo of Debian. The result is beautiful 😀

Installation.

Basically all they have to do is go down this file. Once it is down we unzip it, and open a terminal where we put:

$ sudo /home/usuario/carpeta_del_fichero/Oxygen/install.sh

The Script will take care of the rest for us.

Haha so good that yesterday I couldn't fuck you around here, right? haha I had to be a victim of cheap psychology haha.

Mr. elav putting things with KDE style, I think you have to take a picture of him.

Well, let's see if I wake up and install it

Man, the good must be recognized. I tell you more, I have nothing against KDE, it only has two things that I do not like:
      - Its high consumption.
      - Not everything is as simple as in Gnome.
Outside of that, I have always said that it is the best and most complete GNU / Linux desktop.

Pufff, I use fedora 16 my good ones, I have been seeing you for about 1 month, and today I am interested in modifying the grub and I see that it does not have a fedora icon to modify it, will there be another way? or will you leave my option without the icon?

Grax and the blog is very good, all very well.

What icon do you get? Maybe modifying something can be achieved ...

I will have to see how to install Grub2 in Arch, instead of Grub1 which is the one I think I have installed 😀

Does anyone know how to uninstall this theme? I don't like how it looks, besides that I notice it VERY slow to go down from one option to another

I was going to leave the exact same comment.

      Good again. Well, "uninstall" not exactly, but I found that editing the text file / etc / default / grub there was a line that said "GRUB_THEME = / boot / grub / themes / Oxygen / theme.txt". I have commented it by putting a #, like this: "# GRUB_THEME = / boot / grub / themes / Oxygen / theme.txt"
and that's it, that theme is deactivated.

PS: You have to run update-grub or update-grub2 for the changes to take effect.
