Google Chrome 114 is a new major version of the popular web browser and in this new release there are few new features that stand out, but of the changes implemented there are some that are worth mentioning-
And it is that one of the main changes in Chrome 114 is the Change from using the OS certificate store to the Chrome certificate store.

In Chrome 114 the password manager received an interface redesign that is displayed when clicking on the icon in the address bar, in addition to now it is designed as a PWA app. Of the other changes that were made, it stands out that a button has been added to open the password manager in the first level menu of the browser.
Support for the Background Blur API has been added, that allows to use the capabilities provided by the platform to blur the background of the images and videos received from the camera (useful for video conferencing web applications).
Of the other changes that stand out of this new version:
- Old tabs are grouped under Inactive Tabs in the tabs grid on iPhone and iPad.
- The exclusionFilters property has been added to the navigator.bluetooth.requestDevice() method to allow the exclusion of certain devices from the interface provided by the browser to select available Bluetooth devices.
- Improved password checking in iOS to find out if passwords are considered insecure.
Testing a new Chrome Bookmarks side panel experience that supports filtering, sorting, and editing. - Chrome's Safe Browsing feature, if set to Standard or Enhanced, will recursively unpack nested file downloads now to improve protection against malware using nested files.
- The "overflow" CSS property no longer handles the "overlay" value separately, which is now identical to the "auto" value.
Added support for debugging autocomplete forms in the Elements panel and Issues tab. - The Recorder panel offers the ability to add affirmations while recording.
- The Performance dashboard has been expanded to analyze performance and identify bottlenecks. Removed the ability to invoke the previously deprecated JavaScript Profiler panel.
- WebAssembly adds support for the new i32.add, i32.sub, i32.mul, i64.add, i64.sub, and i64.mul constant processing instructions.
- Improvements have been made to the web developer tools.
- Provides the ability to debug C and C++ code from WebAssembly applications for which debug data is available in DWARF format.
- Among other things, it supports setting breakpoints and displaying C/C++ function names.
