Made in Spain

This platform is domiciled in Spain and its Datacenter They are located in Spain, this is extremely important, especially for those projects that target audiences in this country and throughout Europe. Having your servers in that country, theoretically makes access to it faster and even some SEO experts (I don't know if it's true) say that it is easier to position for a specific country if the server IP is from that country.

Free testing a VPS server

This Spanish company is giving away 5 so that we can test their servers, in DesdeLinux We have taken advantage of this promotion, creating an account to view the features and verify that everything they offer is true.

For you to enjoy it too, just create an account from here., will request personal data to verify that you are a real user and that you do not have a multi-account.

Once your account is verified and activated you can enjoy your 5€, in our case we have created a server with ubuntu 16.04, although it was also available Debian, Centos, in addition to facilities prepared from Docker, Magento, Prestashop interface and even installations with control panel Plesk y VestaCP.

In our case we have chosen the minimum requirements, once selected and clicking the confirmation button, it did not take a minute to have our server available (¡¡Fabulous!).

Connecting with SSH

In the Firewall tab we can give access to the IP that we want to be able to connect by SSH and in the SSH keys tab we can download the key to connect to our server.

Then with the access data of our server we can execute the following command from our console, replacing with your data:

ssh -i "llave.pem" root@servidor.clouding.host

It will ask us for the access password, which can be found in the servers tab and it will welcome us with this message.

ssh clouding.io

My conclusion on Clouding.io

I have reviewed Clouding.io from head to toe, doing benchmarks, mounting updates and doing some stress tests, the results have been above expectations. I highlight its support and its ability to expand features in real time.

Something that perhaps I have not been able to exploit is how it behaves with visits that are not Spanish, in addition that until now we cannot reduce the disk storage capacity that we hire, although we understand that it is due to technical reasons inherent to the infrastructure.

Nor have I been able to test thousands of real visits, but I assume from the characteristics of its infrastructure that they will not have a major problem. It is quite an inspiring and promising project that I could certainly recommend to anyone.

Very good article, Luigys. I can not test as you wrote, because my ISP does not allow Internet output via SSH. If not, it proved for sure.

I'm going to try it because I have a project that I could put in there and I'm sure it would improve. Thank you!

For pioneers in this with infrastructure in Spain (at various points) I prefer GinerNet.

Whoever knows who is behind will appreciate it.
