After a series of release candidates over the past few weeks, lManjaro developers have released the new version of their Manjaro 18.0 system "Iliria."

With this version of the kernel latest hardware support added, fixes from Pamac package manager and updates to the Manjaro administrator settings.

Manjaro Settings Manager (MSM) now offers an easy-to-use graphical interface for installing and removing kernels.

The selection of Manjaro kernels available remains the largest of all Linux distributions.

In this version, eight different kernels are available directly from Manjaro warehouses, from 3.16 to the most recent 4.19. In addition, three versions of the Kernel are provided in real time.

This wide variety of kernel options ensures that one is able to run Manjaro on older and newer hardware.

    Congratulations on the article.

Manjaro is 100% Rolling but with 15 days of delay with respect to arch therefore semi Bleeding Edge - To the last - because the testing repositories can be configured to be Bleeding Edge but it is not by default-

I miss, almost whenever it is written about the kernels in real time - RT kernels - that it is mentioned that they are indicated for editing and multimedia playback. In other words, for musicians, music lovers and video artists.

Greetings ... Change Manjaro because it is frustrating about the repositories, for example Yaourt ... If you search the internet, almost everything was with that and out of nowhere, it no longer works, based on that, which ones do you recommend using? It would be good a general answer here and a blog about it to give greater clarity to those of us who come from Ubuntu and want to enter the world of pacman, yaur, etc ...

Well you can pull pacman. To install, sudo pacman -S package. To search for: pacman -Ss package. To update repositories and update packages: sudo pacman -Syyu. Pacman would be equivalent to Ubuntu's apt. Yaourt was an add-on, a few extra repositories, but not the main Manjaro ones.
