Commandos 2 HD Remaster: the legendary video game returns to Linux

We will all remember the mythical video game Commandos 2, a video game in which you could manage a series of military characters to fulfill different missions. Well, the video game returns remastered and updated. With better graphics, but with the same essence. But it has returned with an important change, and that is that the new version will also be compatible with Linux and Mac, and not only with Windows like the classic version. Later it will also arrive for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo.

Thanks to Kalypso Media, which obtained the rights to the Pyro Studios franchise, the Spanish developers of the classic can now relaunch this new Commando 2 HD Remaster on the Steam store. In addition, so will Praetorians HD Remaster, a remastered version just like the Commandos that they have also achieved with that 2018 agreement to obtain the rights.

Kalypso Media has worked for a few months on the remastering of the titles and has adapted them to the new times, and has announced this great news at E3 2019. A luxury for all those fans of the classic title who can now relive it with new features. If you are interested, you can get it from Kalypso Shop or from the steam store. As for the release date, it is not yet known exactly when it will arrive. In the absence of an official release date, it is expected to come sometime in Q4 2019.
