With this same title an article has been published in KDE Blog where they invite all interested to participate in a contest, to create the next wallpaper for KDE 4.8.
The bases are simple:
- The wallpaper must be sent with the subject «wallpaper2011" at nuno@oxygen-icons.org.
- The license must be LGPL.
- Minimum size 1920 × 1200, it will have special consideration if the designer creates other sizes.
- Photographs are accepted.
- Must have a defining element that can be used in branding KDE (very important).
The Jury will be composed of Nuno pinheiro, Lydia pintscher e Ingo Malchow and its deadline is December 4 of this year. The award is the recognition of the entire Community, and of course, to see the creation of one in the launch of the next version of KDE It must be exhilarating.
