Among many passionate users of the various free and open operating systems , or GNU/Linux distributions , there is a custom or practice of optimizing and customizing them as much as possible, to showcase their skills and potential.
Specifically, when it comes to customizing GNU/Linux distributions , many Free Software and Open Source groups and communities tend to focus on the desktop appearance , particularly the wallpaper . Therefore, in this post, we want to share some useful and interesting wallpaper websites that you can visit and use for this purpose.

Finally, to conclude, I've included a screenshot of my GNU/Linux desktop in the image above , where you can see that I'm using a starry wallpaper , specifically an image known as "The Pillars of Creation ," taken by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope . These pillars are part of a small region within the Eagle Nebula , a vast star-forming region 6.500 light-years from Earth.
It's worth noting that the GNU/Linux distribution I use is an extremely customized and optimized version of MX-Linux 19.1 , which I call MilagrOS 2.0 . I'll discuss it in more detail in a future post.
