Deepin Music Player excellent player for Ubuntu

Deepin Music Player is an audio player which is developed by the team in charge of Linux Deepin and of course it is the player that is predetermined in said distribution. This is a simple application but with impressive capabilities, it has a brilliant, stylized and customizable interface, and it also has support for letters and much more.

It is a great player that, as expected, is totally free and open source, released under the GNU General Public License or GPL. Deepin Music Player also offers support so that we can listen to FM radio and play audio online and in addition to this it offers us a minimalist interface called minimode.

Some key features of Deepin Music Player are the support for add-ons that expand its features, the playback of audio CDs, conversion and support between different audio formats, playlist management, an excellent graphic equalizer, and advanced management of the music library and one of the most important features (for not to say that it is the most important of all, although it is only a very personal opinion) as is the reproduction of various audio formats without loss of quality -WAV, FLAC or APE to name just a few- and the support to be able to read the lyrics of the song.

At this point it is necessary to give some special attention to that support that is responsible for displaying the lyrics of the song and that is that its particularity does not end in only showing some lyrics, but rather we may choose between two ways to display the letters. And not only that, but these modes can be customized to suit the user, and change the font type, size, alignment, the colors used, and also other custom settings.

The team of developers behind Deepin Music Player got the customization right as it is possible to give it an even much more personal touch by allowing customize it with solid colors and sinks, and also users can export their own skins; it also offers us a playback history, cross fade, minimized to the systray and also shortcut keys, among other features that make it a very complete player.

With Clementine, VLC and Mixxx it is enough and left over, but we will have to give this one a chance ...

I am happy with SMPlayer, the time I tried Deepin Player I did not like it very much, perhaps because it did not match Linux Mint (based on Ubuntu 14.04.x), we will have to give it another chance.

Until I finally find an article well done from head to toe. My respects for the editor.

By the way, excellent alternative to VLC Media Player.

I have installed Deepin 15.2 and I find it great, I passed Apricity without regrets. But with regard to the music player, it is not very intuitive, import my songs (4289) and I cannot find the option to be able to group by Artist or Album, and it does not display the covers. It will have to be replaced, it is a shame because its equalizer is very good.
