Delete your Google history

Long ago I spoke of the assumption respect for the privacy of Google towards its users.

To make matters worse, today is the last day that we can delete and deactivate the Google history, for this, all we have to do is the following:

  1. Login with your Google account in any of their services.
  2. Visit this address:
  3. Click on "Clear all web history".

When we do this the accumulation of history pauses.

Don't think twice and do it.

I don't think I ever had it activated. I had no idea, but when I enter the page the options it gives me are "Activate Web History" and "No thanks." Of course I chose the second.

Strange, that also appears to me, I guess I never had it activated and so it will be xD

very good ... now I ask something, once the navigation histories are erased, nothing else will be saved again?

    1.    Courage said

      No, because it pauses

mmm I didn't understand hehe. That is, you use Linux but you change the UserAgent so that it appears as Windows + IE? o_0U

You sure use the Tor Browser

If that is part of a series of firefox add-ons to prevent them from tracking you, or saving your data that can be used (usually sold to companies for advertising purposes). For my part I do not have the option activated (I pass it by the reasons of the video that Courage showed before)

Ah okay, I'm paranoid about security but not to such an extent apparently LOL !!! (I'm not saying it's bad I clarify hehe).

Hi, I really am with LMDE and Firefox. On your page I don't mind saying it, but as a rule I think that nobody cares what I use.
That it does not seem bad as I say.

      Hi 😀
Obviously, you have every right to use the UserAgent you want haha, in fact you have the right to tell me that I don't care HAHA, thanks for answering

It just made me curious, because I had never seen someone change the UA to Win + IE 😀

      Greetings ^ _ ^

Hello Diazepan. I'm not with Tor, although I use it too. You just have to go to the link I put, download the add-on and start using it.

Nobody uses google Chrome or Chromium then ??

    1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

I do, that is ... I use Firefox, Chromium, Opera and Rekonq depending on what I need 🙂

      1.    Jamin samuel said

ahh ok you are versatile 😉 I after so much news that I have read the truth I do not know whether to continue using google chrome / chromium browser because in the end they are the same.

I don't know how to find firefox in debian testing, I only see something called Iceweal

        1.    moony said

yes !! that icewell is iceweasel and it's firefox !!

          # aptitude install iceweasel (and voila, you have firefox but with another logo, the same in everything!)

Greetings ... a question: how do you make the Debian icon appear under your name? I am using Debian too and when I write it appears it is the Tux icon the penguin but not the Debian logo .. Why ??

            1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

You have to change the User Agent in your browser, so that your browser tells the web (FromLinux) that you use Linux, yes, but specifically Debian, see, read here:

To change the UserAgent in Chrome / Chromium read here:

Didn't your computer have already been returned to you? … What are you still doing with Windows? ¬_¬

          3.    Courage said

Better not talk about it ...

I try Debian and it gives me errors, I try Arch and the same.

They give it to me with Kubuntu and as soon as it is turned on it remains blocked, I could not access any menu or anything.

These have given me the computer as I have taken them, only with Kubuntu instead of a real distro.

It seems to me that this computer is going to stay in the storage room and that when I get some money I will buy one

Chrome / Chromium ... it would be more or less like OpenOffice / LibreOffice
In other words, the first belongs to a company / company that protects its own interests first, so it is not uncommon for it to store data / information on user navigation, while the second (Chromium) is a community fork, does not save data or a demon because it is from, by and for the community entirely 🙂

But with the issue of the flash that now will only come with google chrome .. I imagine that also in chromium correct?

            1.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

mmm I don't know, I don't know if it will be included in Chromium as well, but I don't think so.
Anyway, HTML5 and other plugins that are alternatives to flash can always be used 🙂

And ... if you give each other the Jabber or something like that to talk?

If by video you mean youtube, it doesn't give me any problem, I don't know if it will be because I use gsnah as a plugin. He gives them to me when translating a page, come on, he doesn't.

  9.   jelpassenger said

Sorry, I'm starting to screw up. It's gnash.

  10.   jelpassenger said

Paranoid? .HAHA, how are you doing. XDDD

Well, what if you are going to talk about all this by mail?

Thanks for the warning, I didn't know I had a deadline to delete that.

Incredibly I had things since June of last year and the registry had only stopped for a few days here, although I had to delete them (which I think they have kept everything but without showing it to me).
