Well dear readers, unfortunately for us, we could not win the award for the Best Technological Blog in the Bitácoras 2012 awards, but we were left with the satisfaction of having participated and of having been in the finalists.
We still do not know what the judges used to award the award, I suppose those who were able to see the event online are aware.
Actually, if we win a prize: The support of all who gave their vote, to which we can only say: Thousand Thanks..
@elav .. hand I need you to contact me at the mail that I leave as soon as possible ...
Mail sent .. 😀
Well ... no way, next time it will be 😉
Although I would like to know the arguments or what the judges were based on to choose the winner, I find it curious 😀
Thank you all for your support, really yes, and congratulations to Clara for her Facebook site that took 1st prize.
It does not matter, in the end they themselves put in the clauses of the contest, that the decision was irrevocable ..
I already feel it. I would have liked to see you among the winners. It does not matter. There will be more prizes and surely you will have one, so cheer up. 🙂
Well, they miss it. 😀 Courage.
Hummm, remember when I commented that the form of registration and voting seemed a little strange to me... For me, that vote was not so CLEAR for Clara to win... because putting everything on the table (and it is not to gain merits here) and confronting content, followers, comments, etc… etc…DesdeLinux Is the winner! It doesn't matter that in Bitácoras you think otherwise, what matters is what those of us who follow you think and for us you are the winners.
The best reward is the loyalty and support that they will always have from those who visit them. :)
The process is confusing and the category is too open (don't worry), you are already the winners in my Timeline 😉 // HAHAHA xD
They are still the best as far as I'm concerned !!!
I think they should feel satisfied with the work they do, the site is already a reference for those like me who did not have a space where to express their opinion, there will already be an opportunity to collect what was sown. Cheers
I agree with what you say, in addition to being a reference for many people that is to collect what is sown or a part depending on how you look at it.
For my part, I can only thank the editors and authors who share their opinions and experiences every day based on what they have learned in their adventures in GNU / Linux for the work that is being carried out here.
What happens in technological blogs = bullshit.
look at the first 2 places …… garbage.
And finally, when they saw the word linux in their blogs, they looked it up in their dictionary and didn't understand it, that's why desde linux It doesn't take first place.
LOL!! Yes. Surely that's what happened.
And if not, at least I have laughed with your comment. Is very good. 🙂
I think DesdeLinux It deserves the award, but Linux is still not very popular for people to vote for a site like this. Among us, yes, after all we are Linux fans, but among "normal" people (without intending to disparage anyone) it is still not very well known.
It's true, it's an epic battle against normal people.
"Friend" ... better "impossible" reasoning.
Greetings.
Yeah, here is a great team of people who cooperate with what they can to those who start in Linux, but a pretty face that flaunts facebook ... marketing gets more publicity 🙁
The judges were convinced that DesdeLINUX She deserved the award, but we all secretly supported the girl on Facebook xD
LoL until today I do not know what that is xDDD, but the title seems to have caught the attention of the fucking judges hahahaha, come here between us, we know that we are the best 😀
I was just contacted by one of the judges, he told me that if we had had one more article from GIMP he would send the prize via Fedex to CUBA, so… take charge!
The link to the results is missing ...
The winning blog in the category -Best Technological Blog- is -claraavilac.com- (Clara Ávila's blog)
Taking into account that it is a personal blog, where the publications are the work of a single person, it has its merit.
As far as you are concerned, the most important thing is the massive following you have. That's important, the rest is fine, but surely you can "live" without it.
Greetings.
Well, I have been there and with nerves on the verge of exploding.
On the other hand, THIS POST HAD TO WRITE IT I AM A THIEF OF POST XD
Well, nothing, next year we will try again
Well, on another occasion it will be ... although, no award is needed to realize the excellent work you do.
Much encouragement and my thanks for what you learn by reading your blog.
Greetings.
You are the best !!! Cheer up guys another day will be ...
I think this blog is too specific for what they were looking for and placed in such a generalist category ... that of Clara is generalist ... that would be it.
The winner is DesdeLinux, that's clear.
Cheer up!
This is the best Spanish-speaking Linux site out there. And the platform you have built is sure to be better than many others that have won awards.
Everything will come, for sure.
Greetings!
PS: For me this site is a winner because it makes all of us who visit it "a little bit happier". 😉
Well the truth is that this award to me, personally, I am not excited at all. What counts is the blog and the great articles here on GNU / Linux. Anyone with a minimum of interest here can find disinterested information about what interests them and in relation to gnu / LINUX. The rest for me is unimportant.

I agree 100% with your comment. Winning awards feels very good for the ego, but the important thing is the work done.
Well, it seems a shame to me but I also have to say that you have to have better lose.
In the end, these saraos have their rules and when there is a jury that has to make a decision, it is subject to the subjectivity of the people who make it up, you can win, you can lose and you can not participate if you do not agree with the functioning.
At least I don't like these prize inventions on the internet and for that reason I never participate in any (I don't think I would have ever won anything either).
At the end of the day, it does not stop being politicking on the net, with all that that entails.
It is clear that for all of us who voted for you, you had won before you entered the contest. In the end, this type of contest depends on the opinion of other people, and there is nothing written about opinions.
Congratulations on going so far and perserving.
You don't need this award to know that you guys do an excellent job. Keep it up and greetings!
