UK video game publisher Feral Interactive today announced plans to launch the acclaimed racing game DiRT 4 for Linux and MacOS platforms.
Developed by Codemasters, DiRT 4 is the sixth title in the DiRT saga and the sixth in the Colin McRae series. The game was originally released on June 6, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
Now, two years later, DiRT 4 is finally coming to Linux tomorrow, March 28, Thanks to the publisher Feral Interactive, who has put a lot of effort into bringing this series to UNIX systems, starting with DiRT Rally.

DiRT 4 comes with more than 50 cars of all kinds, including the Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2, Ford Fiesta R5, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, and Subaru WRX STI NR4 and five locations including Michigan in the United States, Powys in Wales, Tarragona in Spain, Vermelandia in Sweden, Fitzroy in Australia.
Additionally, Players will be able to customize their races by tuning their cars, from grip levels to suspension, as well as track, time and driving style. DiRT 4 allows you to create your own routes with your own levels, in addition, you can enter the DiRT Academy to perfect your driving.
