Coincidentally, yesterday I was talking to you about this new distribution which was in the Release Candidate phase , and today I just read the news that the final 32-bit version of SolusOS is now available.
Its creator seems to have followed the trend of Linux Mint , and SolusOS is being released under the name Eveline . Will the test branch also be called Romeo ? I don't know, but what we do know is that, based on Debian Squeeze, SolusOS provides the following packages:
- Firefox 12.0
- Thunderbird 12.0.1
- LibreOffice 3.5.3.2
- Linux Kernel 3.0.0 (with BFS, PAE, preempt)
- Gnome 2.30
- openshot 1.4.2
- Nautilus Elementary
- PlayOnLinux 4.0.18
- VLC 2.0.1
- FirstRunWizard 0.8
In addition, all existing issues with the RC versions have been fixed and other improvements have been added. Any feedback you wish to report can be done through their forum.
