DLinux: Theme for KDM and KSplash

DLinux_KSplash

Last night I was bored and trying to customize my Desktop Environment a bit, I started looking through my files for some themes to KDM, KSplash y Plasma.

Of everything I have, what I like the most is Dharma, the artwork created by Malcer for Chakra GNU / Linux, and although it is cute as it is, I wanted to do something more personalized for me.

Regrettably Dharma It has a license that does not allow me to modify it, so I had to rely on Caledonia, which is very similar and if I may.

The image that starts this post is a preview of the theme for KSplash, which can be downloaded from the following link:

Download DLinux KSplash

Also based on Caledonia e taking some details from Dharma, we can download a theme for KDM.

Download DLinux KDM

Although initially I relied on Caledonia to create my own style, I hope to continue improving both the code and the appearance as I do a little more documentation on how to make a theme for KDM y KSplash.

When everything is fine as I want, I will make a version for SLiM y GDM.

The style is very simple but pleasing to the eye, but hey also reminds me of the pastel colors of windows 8 and its horrible subway (humble opinion). Thanks for sharing I will test it on my laptop.

Nice theme for KDM. Let's see how I can activate the KDM to Slackware.

I think I had already made the comment in a previous post, but it seems that little by little the site is moving towards the creation of its own distro. (DesdeLinux LiveDVD).
