FINDENEGRO - Open the attendance period

findblack

After #findeblack announced in DesdeLinux 5 months ago they returned to the fray with what is now called #findenegro. Findenegro is a weekend of free talks and workshops self-managed in which you can participate freely.

When? On the weekend of October 17 to 19, we will have a weekend to share knowledge, a weekend of free software, computer security and ultimately a weekend of good vibes.

Where? Here on the net.

Sorry for the lack of information regarding schedules. The schedules are from Spain although not all the people who give talks are from there.

The short answer therefore is: UTC + 1 (put a few hours less there, we will be here in the afternoon / evening and many of you after eating more or less depending on the country).

The long answer to understand the reason for that time zone:

Although Spain is geographically in the zone corresponding to Western European Time (UTC + 0), it currently uses Central European Time or CET (Central European Time), which is equivalent to UTC + 1
During the summer, UTC + 2 (known as CEST) is used, following the European Community regulations to take advantage of sunlight
In the Canary Islands it is always one hour less than in the peninsula (UTC + 0 in winter and UTC + 1 in summer)

Although it seems to me an excellent initiative, I will not be able to participate, which leads to the next question.
Can the video of the workshops be here on the web? to be able to watch them delayed (when time reaches me)
    regards

They will be audio talks. All podcasts and texts will be released, although the interesting thing is to participate live since the workshops go with ttycast and the audio itself is not the same as being there seeing how things are done live.

Greetings and thanks to Desdelinux to publish. We will share experiences between different people from different parts of the world. I hope a good and nice experience :).

Ok, I thought they would record with audio and video, and of course, only audio is enough to get lost in the coding part, thanks for the answer anyway.
        regards

curious I started to see /usr/share/qt4/mkspecs/qws/linux-powerpc-g++/qmake.conf and I found:
    qmake.

qmake is a program that automates the creation of Makefiles.

qmake was created by Trolltech (now owned by Nokia), and is part of the Qt framework.
    According to Wikipedia …

    who owns nokia?
