Little by little new themes appear for gnome-shell which make it visually a much more beautiful and pleasant desktop environment.
Frieze is one of those themes with dark tones that is worth installing to replace the archaic and sullen theme that comes by default in gnome-shell. Look how it looks:
This version requires Gnome Shell 3.2. To install it we can follow the steps that I show you in this article or we can do the following:
Installation.
- Extract the .zip file.
- Move the extracted folder to ~ / .themes o / usr / share / themes
- Use gnome-tweak-tool to enable the theme.
