FromLinux: Chats in 10 minutes

Greetings to all. I come this time to tell you about a project that I have in hand based on an idea that we discussed a long time ago. KZKG ^ Gaara and me (and later we discussed it with Pablo) but that we never carry out.

From Linux in 10 Minutes It is nothing more than a project whose sole objective is to create a series of Screencast of no more than 10 minutes (as the name implies) and where you can talk about anything.

Why only 10 minutes? Well, for him Screencast don't weigh too much. If a topic needs more time, it is done in parts. They can be helped by tools such as Vokoscreen to create this type of file. Of course, the time may vary later.

For the moment I will start to do some Screencast to start and later, everyone who wants to participate. The videos will be uploaded to YouTube, The one Official channel you create with that goal.

From Linux in 10 Minutes can also be used as a plus in the ΜKernel project which many already know.

We would like to know your opinion, criteria, suggestion about it 😉

Excellent idea, chats are good when they don't waste time saying "Ehhhhhhhhhhhh" into the microphone. And they contain something technical of interest.

Actually it will be a chat if the WebCam is activated hahaha, meanwhile it will be a Screencast 😉

Good idea. Too bad it is without video, since we will not be able to confirm if you are bald or not ... hahaha

Actually, Vokoscreen also allows us to capture the Webcam, so it is most likely that some of them will see my face hahaha

I think those 10 mins will be too short. Very good idea, I already subscribed to the channel.

Well, if 10 are not enough, a second, third, fourth or fifth part is made .. So there is always the desire for more 😀

Question from one of those responsible for µKernel. Does Google Hangouts not work for you due to your geographical condition?

This is elementary to have videos and that one can feel what is done comes in handy FORWARD ...

It would be good if they made mini tutorials to customize the distros or tips for anything. I think the same as the others that in 10 minutes it will fall short but if they do it to be a section of the ukernel then go ahead!

I took up the idea just yesterday, when I started doing a Screecast of things that Brackets has and that I did not mention in my article. But anything goes, from customizing desktops to installing programs.

I think it's a very good idea, see how everything is shaping up ...

The truth is that I think that this screencast will help a lot to those who are so lost in this world ... I myself think to collaborate if that is the case, it seems to me a great way to publicize something you have learned and above with explanation That is, there should be some kind of filter or regulation of what is uploaded to the channel ... since it can lead to dripping or even repetitive videos.
I'm looking forward to seeing the first fruits! ^^

    Good idea, elav 😉

Good Screencast, plus I'll see if I can install Polly (Wheezy) on Debian Stable.

I'm going to copy it for you !!!
      Just kidding..

      1.    elav said

This avatar that you use chinoloco, is the same one used by one of our Administrators. I think that is not correct. Could you change it, please?

      2.    KZKG ^ Gaara said

This avatar is not the one from UsemosLinux? 🙂
haha, what will Pablo say about it? 😀

          What is a simple image?

    3.    elav said

Great, because that is the idea, so you are invited to participate if you wish 😛

  15.   dwarf said

Well, as I said to you and yoyo, there is no problem if you want to use our channel to "agglomerate" all the content on one side and turn it into a single project or, simply that we keep collaborating and participating each from their respective projects, within the others 🙂

Very well! Good luck guys with this new project. From Linux every day we are more surprised.

It would not be bad ... as long as you focus on the agenda and do not tell your life. Small doses of your privacy sometimes make it less but more boring.

Hi Elav. Sorry to talk about a topic that has nothing to do with your article, but I found this news and I think it would be worth echoing it on the blog.

Maybe you dare to give an opinion about it.
