Prepare to get your Linux LPIC-1 certification

Webinars_Course_Linux

Since we started the project DesdeLinux We always had in mind to bring our knowledge to all those users who had less experience or who were starting in this wonderful world of GNU / Linux.

But the reality is that we are not teachers, and there are many more qualified people and platforms for professional teaching. For this there are official certifications of Linux Professional Institute (aka LPI).

The first level LPIC-1 consists of two exams, exam 101 and 102, both must be passed to obtain this certification. Today we present you an interesting online course to prepare for the LPIC-101 exam 1 with live classes taught by Open Webinars.

What does this course offer us?

This course consists of:

+ More than 20 hours of live classes with schedules adapted to Spain and Latin America
+ Recorded classes to watch whenever you need it.
+ Live chat with the teacher and your classmates.
+ Tutoring during the class period live.
+ Theoretical content of support.
+ Mock exams.
+ Unlimited access to all course material.
+ OpenWebinars certification diploma.

And if that were not enough, (as a nice touch) OpenWebinar offers a 20% exclusive discount for readers of DesdeLinux. To get it, they just have to redeem the coupon DESDELINUX at the time of registering for it.

The course starts on April 8, but you can register now and see all the course content before the first class live. Finally, indicate that this course does not include the fees to take the certification exam.

We hope you like this little gift 😉

The course seems excellent to me, but I am interested in the certification, something that this course does not give or am I wrong? Is the course only for preparation or once finished, do you take the certification exam? , I have those doubts xD

The certifications go by stages, that is, first the LPIC1 then more is structured like this and I think well to have as steps in which you go up little and little.

In other words, this certification is like a certification endorsed in the GNU / Linux world and in fact it is the only one certified in turn to work with Linux at the labor level.

The only thing that you should take into account is if it is an advantage for you or not, that is to say, the LPIC certification serves for those who are dedicated to or already have the computer world as a business, or for those who want to do it for study for pleasure not giving them the possibility of making a career out of it.

So this post is a very good entry, and those who want to say that it implies a lot of study according to myself.

Dear, because what it says at the end of this entry «Yes, once the course is completed, we will send you an accredited digital diploma of use of the course, so that you can use it in your curriculum.»,

      the course includes certification.

No, it clearly states that the course does not include the fees for the certification exam.
What they give is a diploma of achievement of the course, in addition to helping to prepare for the exams.

does not include and is clearly seen in a comment:
If you are going to take the LPI-101 exam, I recommend the @openwebinarsnet preparation course, I will take it and pass the exam.
what the site provides is a simple certificate with curricular value.

    Hello good day

I have a blog that I started a long time ago, to encourage people to do the LPIC-1, including myself, although the goal is moving away, due to lack of time, however I would like to share it, in case I encourage people to investigate and finally dare to venture into learning the LPIC-1, since I see it as a very good base to know about the GNU / Linux world, regardless of the distribution.

Happily I have an LPI Level 1 certification, and I encourage everyone to try it, it is gratifying to know the level that each one has. It is not to brag, simply to use it as one more training element and despite being a written evaluation there are questions that one can answer through what has been learned in practical life.
