manager

Gnome Encfs Manager or better known as GencfsM is a tool for managing EncFS file systems on Linux, which is the best alternative for Cryptkeeper and has many unique features.

Gnome Encfs Manager will provides the user with a simple GUI tool but with many functions to help you not only encrypt sensitive data (any type of file you want), it also allows you to automate the process and establish a time-based rule for when to dismount your hideout.

It is very useful when you use EncFS with cloud storage / sync services like Dropbox, etc.

We cannot say GEncfsM as another GUI for encfs because it has many features and runs more like a daemon.

In fact, Gnome Encfs developers emphasize that the main goal of the project is to provide a "set and forget" tool to ease the hassle of managing your encrypted files on your computer.

Notable features

It has several uses, including ability to work well with services like Dropbox, NextCloud, and other syncing services.

Since in case you are using cloud syncing services like ownCloud or Dropbox (which doesn't encrypt your files by default), this tool can be very helpful.
