Google Earth Enterprise source code is now available on Github

The suite of applications that has been released consists of three main components:

  • GEE Fusion: Importer of images, vector and terrain data to a 3d globe or 2D map.
  • GEEServer: Apache server that hosts the private globes built by GEE Fusion.
  • GEE Client: The Google Earth Enterprise Client (EC) and Google Maps Javascript API V3 used to view 3D globes and 2D maps, respectively.

TST is also preparing to upgrade all components including GEE Server, GEE Fusion and GEE Client, ensuring the viability of projects and the manageability of the entire community.

This Open Source application has been tested and is available for the following distros and their derivatives

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux from version 6.0 to 7.2
  • CentOS 6.0 to 7.2
  • Ubuntu 10.04, 12.04 and 14.04 LTS
