For those who do not know what it is Deviantart is, in short, a page where people show their graphic works such as photography, flash animations, traditional art in any of its aspects, etc.
In this blog post I am going to recommend the best groups (at least the ones I know and follow) that every Linux user should follow to find themes for their favorite environment, icon sets, wallpapers, etc.
Note: To avoid fanaticism I do not put groups dedicated to a single distribution or environment.
Linux Screenshot Forum: One of the most active. You can find wallpapers, themes for Gnome, KDE, Cinnamon, Fluxbox, Openbox, etc.
Blackbox Desktop: This focuses on minimalist environments (Openbox, Fluxbox, etc)
LinuxLounge: Another quite active group and with material for different environments.
CustomLinux: Another quite active group with a lot of material for different environments.
OnlyWallpapers: Group with a lot of wallpapers.
DesdeLinux: and of course, we cannot stop recommending our page.
These are the groups that I recommend. If you know any page that is worth it, you can put it in the comments.
Very good links. I went over them, but they deserve a closer look. I liked the part of "Linux Distro's and what I think" in which one of the posters presents the most relevant distros and their characteristics in order. I totally agree with the one that puts in position N.1; which confirms the Distrowatch numbers.
I was struck by "Ubutnu" and "Saybyon." It will be Chinese distributions I guess.
good links
Here if you can comment and in the command post "dd" no ... thanks for both posts !!! I'm going to take a look at these groups 😉
Corrected..
Can't comment on DD's post?
By the way, speaking of following groups, have you noticed that our songs are plagiarized? ... :)
Install Pantheon Files in Ubuntu (file manager)
Pantheon Files File Explorer
😛
I'm already reviewing this, thanks for the notice 😉
Please, stop commenting on things that have nothing to do with the subject.
Thank you
hahahahaha… if that happened it would stop being desdelinux
Apologies They are Link… It is not my interest to hijack your topic, only that as this matter is about follow-ups, I took the opportunity to
denouncecomment that others usthey plagiarizeand "tracing" very timely.Greetings and I reiterate my apologies for intruding.
I use very little devianart, but I'm going to follow those groups to see how
Good groups, yes. Others that make a lot of noise are those that are aimed at GIMP, which although they speak of it as a program rather than focused on a distro, they look good.
I can put them at least which ones I am in them or I gave them the watch and add them if they like: 3
Some of them I already knew, this topic is very interesting I will try to review them all
And taking advantage of the comment I need help with this problem I hope someone can help me
Well my problem is this:
I want to install lubuntu but my cd reader crashed and I don't have bios support to boot from usb
I have tried a program called PloP (which allows the compatibility of starting from usb on machines that do not support it from the bios) but when connecting the usb the Bios locks and does not advance unless I remove the usb and because of this problem I can not to make it work
The only solution I can think of would be to make a partition on the hard drive and copy the lubuntu installer to it and then somehow boot from there
How can I do this?
It's possible?
If you can explain to me how it is done I will appreciate it
Hello people, I have an account in DevianART where I publish my executable mockup's written with Gtk 3.4.
Also, I have created an icon pack called Kalahari icons and Mate-with-Mint

and the social network Diaspora? I have not seen any page promoting this social network made of free software, I have only seen pure propaganda to private and closed social networks: /
