LMDE Guide: First Review

For all users of LMDE and blog followers, I just finished a guide on LMDE that I have made in order to collect the most interesting posts about this distribution in Desdelinux.

The guide is in format PDF and of course it may be subject to changes as we detect errors, accept suggestions or add new ones Tips. Link to download:

      Try the lines that appear in this link:

      https://blog.desdelinux.net/tercera-parte-lmde-a-fondo-optimizando-aun-mas/

      It is not going to be something that is a problem of the characters.

      However, what that command does is add the lines:

      APT :: Install-Recommends "0";
      APT :: Install-Suggests "0";

      In the file /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99synaptic

      Try adding them manually to see.

      I am happy that is was useful for you. This is a first review, some details are still missing and I plan to continue refining it. In fact, now I am using LMDE with Xfce and I have to include some tips .. 😀

    The annoying startup noise is not disabled, I followed the steps in the guide but there were no changes. In /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf there is this: blacklist pcspkr but they keep ringing… any help?
    Thank you
