How to limit a user's session time

We all know that technology has its good points and its bad points; that works for amazing things and for very bad things. To a large extent, that will depend on the use or abuse that is made of these new tools that are available to us. In particular, many parents wish they could limit the time your children spend in front of the computer. I'm not sure this is the best way to do it, it's always better to talk to them. However, sometimes there is no other. Then, timekpr it can be very helpful.

Features

timekpr is an application that helps us control the usage time of our GNU/Linux computers. This program regulates the use of system user accounts according to a schedule set by the administrator. The administrator can establish a time limit or a daily period during which other users can (or cannot) access their accounts. This is a good option if we are concerned about how the children in the house might use our computers, for example.

Installation

You just need to add the corresponding PPA and install the timekpr package:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa: timekpr-maintainers / ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install timekpr
