HTC and LG join Google and others in fighting Apple, or anyone else attacking Android

I just read this new, which I share with you 🙂

HTC and LG have joined forces to protect themselves from attacks on Android, that is, these two great cell phones have joined a group of companies called Open Invention Network (some members are Google, Facebook, Sony, Cisco, Twitter, etc) who share patents between them, help each other against legal attacks (The name "Apple" comes to mind, doesn't it? nah ... just a coincidence HAHA)

ISO was founded by the union of several companies, IBM, NEC y Sony, however at this time they have already joined Google, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo!, HP, Cisco, Mozilla y TomTom.

I don't know about you ... but instead of calling you Open Invention Network I would call them: «The Justice League"… or not? LOL!!!

Anyway, the point is that I think Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), bothered enough, too much and woke up a lion (Google, which bought IBM shares and later buy from Motorola), but it didn't stop there ... little by little, news like this shows us that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), He should have stayed calm, with his products for less adventurous users and without disturbing the rest 😀

regards

Not only Apple, Microsoft has also screwed up something (less than Apple, but hey)

Patents are like the cold war, they are pure noise, they serve so that the great ones can annoy the little ones, because where Google and IBM are given to fight each other over patents they both get screwed and when I say screwed, they leave Well screwed up, that's why big companies hardly fight about it.

On the one hand it seems good to me but on the other not (and less with pasta in between as it is).

For fucking the rotten apple I think it's great because I don't like them.

But I don't like this fighting because it shouldn't be the goal of all open source systems.

I don't think the intention is to attack, fight ... Apple has screwed up all those who sell Android devices enough, is it time that those previously attacked can now defend themselves or not?

Yes, but to be with the holy war no, because the goal of open source systems is not to take over the territory, that is of the proprietary

Yes, the goal is not to gain a monopoly or anything like that ... but man, if they only receive attacks from proprietary OS, lawsuits and problems, can't they want to defend themselves?

I see these maneuvers VERY well, if Apple attacks HTC (for example) saying that they violated X Apple's patent, HTC can make use of the patents of Google, LG, several more and its own to tell Apple that they violated 150 patents of these other manufacturers.
          This is called "defense" 😀

Hey by the way, haven't you updated Arch yet? I see you with Firefox 7.0.1 yet ... hehe ...

Then what happens happens, that comes the "this is not a democracy", the attempts at monopoly and the wanting to make money by lowering the quality of the product, but with companies in general, not just Google
