Hugin: create your best panoramic photo.

We have all wanted at some point to capture an image of such large dimensions that it is only possible if we take a panoramic photo. The most widely used techniques consist of taking multiple simultaneous photographs, and later interlacing them with specialized software that looks for similarities and common areas in all of them, to finally form a single image.

Hi L.! It is rare that it is not in the lubuntu software center. in my Ubuntu distribution it appears. You could search by terminal, if you find the software

      apt-cache search hugin

And if it appears, install the package by terminal.

Although I think your best option would be to download the software from Hugin's main page http://hugin.sourceforge.net/download/ to download a .tar.bz2 file for you. You can help you install this package with the article. https://blog.desdelinux.net/tutorial-instalar-paquetes-tar-gz-y-tar-bz2/

      Regards.!

You can use the terminal (CTRL + ALT + T (or look for it in accessories))
Then you copy and paste the following (omitting "$>"):

      $> sudo apt-get install hugin

It will ask for your password and then the package must be downloaded and installed, otherwise, it will give an error that the package is found, in which case the package is not found, go to copy in terminal:

      $> sudo add-apt-repository ppa: hugin / next
      $> sudo apt-get update
      $> sudo apt-get install hugin

It will ask for your password and that's it.

Now I explain what does that:
      - First the program repository is added, that is so that there is a place to download it from.
      - Second, the repositories are updated, this is to update the list of installable packages / programs and their sources, that is, what programs are there to install and from where to download them.
      - And finally the package / program is installed.

      Greetings.

I had precisely to assemble four photographs in a panoramic view and this has come to my mind. Easy to install (it is in the Ubuntu repositories), easy to use and with very good results, especially considering that they were photos moved and taken with the mobile.
    Thank you!
