Inkscape 1.0 is here after 15 years of development

Today it was announced that the popular graphical editor Inkscape has finally reached its version 1.0 after 15 years of continuous development. Even so, it is not a final version, but a first alpha compilation that will essentially serve to correct the errors that will appear with the news.

Among the novelties of this alpha version we find an updated user interface for fit better on 4K / HiDPI displays plus support for creating / applying themes.

Inkscape 1.0 brings many improvements and new features, among the most interesting we find the possibility of rotating and mirroring canvases, new options to export PNG files, option for variable fonts and elimination of a large number of strokes with a single command.
