The characteristics The most outstanding features of this new version of the player are: support for Ubuntu One, Box, Dropbox and Skydrive, as well as Subsonic; support for the Android application that allows you to control the player remotely; plus a new tab in the sidebar for playlists.

Very good player, very similar to Songbird, but with its own style.
In KaOS there is already the Clementine 1.2 from the same day it was launched 🙂
By the way, I did not know the Clementine Remote for Android, thanks for you info 😉
Me too. I was completely unaware that there was a remote version for Android.
KaOS is a fantastic distribution where it brings together features of the best Linux distributions, for example it uses the famous pacman package manager without being based on Archlinux, it is rolling release, with a KDE desktop environment focused on 64-bit architectures and despite being so young it already has more than 1800 packages. Here is your URL: http://kaosx.us/
KaOS ???? da faq ... I have been robbed.
who stole my name? and the idea? and did you implement it?… .. https://github.com/xr09/kaos
Right now I'm calling my lawyers, let's go for everything this time, I'm going to take even the dog from this guy….
sorry, I put in an intensive of "Suits" over the weekend. XD
Clementine remote, I had not seen it, I will see if there is a video on youtube.
Clementine is the player that best suited my needs, he is one of the best, although he still has many things to improve. A navigation through covers would not be bad.

Why "base of"?
Source plz!
Because if you notice, the first part is a copy-paste of that post with some words changed.
Drdexter1989 probably read that article and will have been based on it, even the URL of the photograph that heads the topic reveals that the image was taken from Ubunlog, but I see that the writing style is different. I do not think it is a copy and paste.
You will see it is not a copy paste as you say, although there is a lot of information on the web which you can collect and put together your post, it is more if I take the description of the Ubunblog program, the rest is written by me and it did take me time Doing so, perhaps you have never copied a text from wikipedia, or from another common website: Clarify Base text was only:
«It has a good number of improvements compared to the previous version - which dates from October 2012 - as well as a large number of bugs and errors corrected. The most outstanding features of this new version of the player are: support for Ubuntu One, Box, Dropbox and Skydrive, as well as Subsonic; support for the Android application that allows you to control the player remotely; plus a new tab in the sidebar for playlists. »
I don't think it's bad, much less copy paste, to take these wise words from a friendly blog that always has the purpose of sharing knowledge with the free software community. It took me more than 45 to write the rest of the blog and you will see that it was not only copy paste. Also, although it does not serve you, someone else will be interested and will serve. Thanks for going through the post and leaving your bad comment if what you do is distort and not encourage further improvement.
I just think a link back to the blog would have been nice. Since it shares "wise words", you could have already thanked with a link back.
I mean, since you copied a whole paragraph from them.
I have the official PPA installed but it has not been updated yet, I hope that one day soon it will
I love Clementine, it has a good library, it does not consume as many resources and it has synchronization with Google Drive and Grooveshark (plus the magnificent Nyanalizer Cat)
My default player is really good and now with the application to control it from the perfect cell!
After trying everything, now I use Deadbeef, which is the only one that reproduces audio of all kinds with the MINIMUM RESOURCES and allows you to view or delete the files directly from the song title in the playlist.
all the best!
It happened to me the same as you, I tried everything (including Clementine), and I stayed with Deadbeef.
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is precise pangolin .. not quantal, that package does not work for distros based on 12.04, you have an error in the names and in the packages, I realized because I downloaded it for Elementary OS.

It looks excellent, for apps like this it hurts to have to use windows ...
nvm, it has a windows version at least I can try it xP
The day when Clementine has the option to automatically add similar tracks (which I don't understand how anyone has implemented it yet), it will just be unbeatable, for me at least.
I have always looked for a very simple music player, Clementine incorporates many functions of which I hardly use any. I know it's a great music player and manager but I still stick with Audacius.
Thanks for the guide.
+ 1!
ok and in debian testing how would it be updated?
