How do we know the universe of video games It is gigantic and we have something for everyone, but one thing we are seeing these days is that we only talk about games in HD, which are played on next-generation consoles or on computers that cost more than college.
I suggest you play something different, just as exciting but with a different gameplay. Is about stories in text With which you interact by changing the scene, reading the narration and manipulating the objects, with the objects you can interact in 3 ways: inspect it, take it or use it. Believe it or not it is very entertaining, I recommend that you try it and you will realize it. |
Installation
For installation download the package instead.
On Debian / Ubuntu and derivatives:
apt-get install instead
I recommend using a folder to store the files that you are going to download.
mkdir ~ / instead
Then some of the .zip packages are downloaded from the project page (http://code.google.com/p/instead-games/)
I recommend the package instead-mansion-1.2.5 which is in Russian and Spanish, plus the story is great. You can download it here.
To open the game they just have to write instead in the terminal and that's it. They can also go to the applications and open it (I use xfce so the path is menu> games> instead).
The first time they enter, it will show them a tutorial on how to play, a much better explanation than I can do, and to start playing they just have to click on choose game and select the .zip file they just downloaded.
I discovered this game thanks to post of pvaldes.
Very good, this by the way the game could be run in an e-book right?
It also reminded me of the role-playing game, in which they tell you how the game develops and you have some options to execute.
Anyway, I liked this game, I hope more games will come out in Spanish.
It seems entertaining, I'll try it, thanks 🙂
As an additional comment, those who enjoy this type of game (choose your own adventure), without too many graphic twists and turns, I recommend reading our extensive article on rogue-like games: https://blog.desdelinux.net/soy-un-geek-del-terminal-y-mis-juegos-preferidos-son-los-roguelike/
Cheers! Paul.
