Interior design with Sweet Home 3D

Maybe you have your dream home in mind or you are just an architecture enthusiast. An excellent tool to develop your designs and ideas about architecture and interiors is Sweet Home 3D.

Sweet Home 3D is an application open source y multi platform (developed in Java) to design interiors. It allows, among other things, to place furniture in: bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, etc., all in a 2D plan while it is showing, in real time, the 3D model.

It is very easy to use, although I found it a bit "slow". Perhaps because of my eagerness to build my virtual home. 🙂

Anyway, anyway, I liked it a lot because it is a fairly intuitive and easy-to-use tool and also on its page there are complete and detailed instructions in Spanish.

If you are looking for something simpler than Autocad and especially something free, I believe that Sweet Home 3D It will be an excellent solution that will allow you to develop, work and perfect your designs.

Like Google Earth, it gets pretty bad with Compiz. If you use Compiz and this program should deactivate Compiz before running it (the most comfortable way is to use Compiz Fusion Icon)
