Invitation to FLISoL 2016 in Ecuador

On Saturday, June 25, the FLISOL, Latin American Festival of Free Software Installation. This time it is celebrated after the international date because it was suspended due to the terrible earthquake that affected the South American country.

FLISOL 2016, Quito headquarters, will be organized by the Hackem Free Software and Computer Security Community led by Mr. Galoget Latorre in the Building of Classrooms and Relations with the External Environment (EARME) of the Center for Continuing Education (CEC) of the National Polytechnic School (EPN), this event will be held in order to celebrate the virtues of Free Software, and also to promote its use for the benefit of the public by informing attendees of its philosophy, scope, progress and development. At the event, free software will be installed, free of charge and totally legal, on the computers that the attendees carry. In addition, in parallel, talks, lectures and workshops (face-to-face and virtual) are offered on local, national and international issues around Free Software, in all its range of expressions: artistic, academic, business and social.

The event also aims to provide information on low cost solutions for small and medium-sized businesses - GNU / Linux, Office Software, Switches and Servers. It is an event aimed at all types of public: students, academics, businessmen, officials, enthusiasts and interested parties. It should be noted that for the event we have expert speakers on the topics to be dictated, professionals who previously participated as VIP guests at high-profile events such as: Campus Party, Software Freedom Day, FUDCon, Mozilla Web Maker Party, among others.

Some of the areas that will be presented at the event are: Ethical Hacking, Technological Innovation, Free Culture, Free Hardware, Free Software, Software Development and Web Applications, Security and Networks, in all the above we will see the latest technological trends.
