I am a user of KDE, the distro I use now is debian wheezy (current Testing) ... so my login manager is KDM.
SolusOS It's a distro we've talked about a lot already, and I I have given my very personal opinion about it ... however, even with defenders and detractors, I think the vast majority of us agree that the default wallpaper is quite beautiful 😀
So I decided to put it on me KDM, it looks like this:
If they want to achieve this, they simply must download the modified theme, and unzip it into / usr / share / kde4 / apps / kdm / themes
I leave you a line that will do all the work 😀
cd /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/themes && sudo wget http://ftp.desdelinux.net/horos-mod.tar.gz && sudo tar -xzvf horos-mod.tar.gz && sudo chmod 744 -R horos-mod/
They put this in a terminal and press [enter], they will be asked for their password, they put it and press [enter] again 😉
Now it only remains to activate it, that is, select it so that it is the one that is on 😀
For that we go to the settings of our KDE, where it says Login Screen, there we can select Horos (Modified by KZKG ^ Gaara) and voila 😉
Any questions let me know 🙂
regards
It looks amazing 😀
Cheers(:
Thank you
nice !!!
Thanks partner 😀
proper greetings…. are you in gnome or kde?
The last time you told me you were in awe of KDE… [trollmode = on] so I guess stick with the best desktop environment ever [/ trollmode = off].
in KDE still ... I think I'll use it for a while xD
YEAH! hehe
You do it to please Elv and also Yoyo xD hahahaha (joke)
HAHAHAHA unlike what is believed, I like SolusOS, I think it is a good product 😀

O_O… OMFG !! I love O_O…
Where can i download it from? 😀
I don't know, I guess it's in the repositories. It was installed for me by default with the Debian Wheezy netinstall.
What I know is that it's called joy.
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianArt/Themes/Joy
With a simple dpkg –search joy I already know which package the Debian artwork is in. On desktop-base.
[quote] This package contains various miscellaneous files which are used by Debian Desktop installations. Currently, it provides
some Debian-related artwork and themes, .desktop files containing links to Debian-related material (suitable for placement on
a user's desktop), and other common files between the available desktop environments such as GNOME and KDE. [/ quote]
What is the icon theme you use?
ya know at first when I made that Solus wasnt out yet and it wasnt decided is it's going to use KDE or Gnome. but when we decided to use Gnome we compromised (blue overall look and Gnome) so the wallpaper is still valid 😛 .. glad you guys like it
O_O… OM_G! … What to honor…
