Keyboard shortcuts for Dolphin

Like any good app, Dolphin, one of the best KDE file browsers, has a very important functionality: that of having short keyboard shortcuts that facilitate their use and result in the best exploitation of the program.

A little about Dolphin

In general terms, these are its main characteristics:

  • Address bar for browsing folders
  • View the properties of folders and files
  • Different views (details, icons, list, groups)
  • Tabs
  • "Split View", or to be able to separate a window to see two different folders at the same time
  • Undo function
  • Integrated terminal
  • Search for files and data
  • Bookmarks
  • Integration with other programs such as choqok, dropbox, gwenview, file compressor, svn, font installer, file encryption, etc.
  • It supports plugins, and more than the default ones can be added through its addon installer. (Settings -> Configure Dolphin -> Services -> Download New Services)

I use a lot the command F3, F7 and the F4 that enables a terminal. But I also use the time functions a lot, so I open and close the tab easily with the button in the center 😀
Also control + F to search

Some already known and the others totally new to me, although I still have concerns, what does it mean: row 1, cell 1?

Well I know this question should not be asked in this post but how can I put the same buttons "minimize, maximize, close" like this in the OS X-style image?

I assigned one to see the previews of the files (Ctrl + Alt + P). I also use Ctrl + Page Up or Ctrl + Page Down to navigate between the tabs, but sometimes Dolphin crashes due to a segmentation fault when I navigate like this ...

Thank you for the contribution, it has helped me to know many things that I used to do in other more complex ways, thank you again!
