Liberated Pixel Cup: free games at your fingertips

 La Liberated Pixel Cup is a free game development contest organized by the Free Software Foundation, Creative Commons, and OpenGameArt that has been in development since April. For those more (or equally) interested in license of the games Instead of their quality, here are some reviews of the different development proposals submitted as part of the Liberated Pixel Cup.


On K3rnel.net you will find a long list of reviews of several of the games featured in the Liberated Pixel Cup.

At the moment, reviews of the following free 2D games are included (as 3D games are not allowed in this contest): BitBrawl, Chickenpix, Concave, Dungeon Tactics, Bright Flame Tactics, Artificer's Quest, Lurking Patrol Comrades, Blood Moon , Learn2D, Blob Mobs, Archer Man, A (lchemist), Song of Blood, Pixel Quest, Forge, Crossword Maze, Liberate Pixil Quest, AfterImage, Big Island, Farm Taken Over, Slime Attack, Monk Story, Neverwell Moor, Ye Old Adventure Shop, Volley Zombie, Sorcerer's Garden, and Castle Defense.

The reviews were written by Juan Rodríguez, a Fedora contributor who is also working on the Liberated Pixel Cup with the game "Whispers of Wisdom." So far, there are 28 games reviewed out of a total of 48. However, the reviewer plans to test all of them.
