LibreOffice 6.0 is now ready for end users and business environments

The Document Foundation informed Softpedia yesterday that the fifth LibreOffice 6.0 update is now available.

LibreOffice 6.0.5 is here a month and a half after LibreOffice 6.0.4 checking the availability of the office suite for end users and business purposes. The Document Foundation considers LibreOffice 6.0 to be fully tested and ready for business environments.

Until yesterday, The Document Foundation only recommended the LibreOffice 6.0 office suite to enthusiastic users looking to test the latest news, while businesses and end users the organization suggested installing LibreOffice 5.4 version which reached the end of its life cycle on June 11 with the release of LibreOffice 5.4.7.

LibreOffice 6.0.5 fixes many bugs through various essential components like Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Math and Base. AndThese enhancements make the LibreOffice 6.0 suite more stable and reliable and that is the main reason why The Document Foundation now recommends installing this version in business environments and end-user computers.

The next version of LibreOffice 6.0 (6.0.6) is planned to arrive in August alongside LibreOffice 6.1. Almost two months later, at the end of October, Libre 6.0.7 will arrive as the latest maintenance update. LibreOffice 6.0 will reach the end of its life on November 26, 2018.
